 Almighty and everliving God, who by your holy Apostles have taught us to make prayers, and supplications, and to give thanks for all men; Give me first a Spirit of fellowship with all those who pray with me, who I cannot see; and let each of us know that we pray in the unity of Spirit, although we are all separated from one another in body; 

We all, and each of us, humbly beseech you most mercifully to accept our alms and oblations, and to receive these our prayers, which we offer unto your Divine Majesty; beseeching you to inspire continually the Universal Church with the spirit of truth, unity, and concord: And grant that all those who confess your holy Name may agree in the truth of your holy Word, and live in unity and godly love.

We ask you also, so to direct and dispose the hearts of all Christian Rulers, that they may truly and impartially administer justice, to the punishment of wickedness and vice, and to the maintenance of your true religion, and virtue.

Give grace, O heavenly Father, to all your bishops, priests, pastors, and other ministers, that they may, both by their life and doctrine, set forth your true and living Word, and rightly and duly administer your holy worship.

And to all your People give your heavenly grace; and especially to those who pray together in Spirit at this time; that, with meek heart and due reverence, they may hear, and receive your holy Word; truly serving you in holiness and righteousness all the days of their life.

And we most humbly beseech you, of your goodness, O Lord, to comfort and succour all those who, in this transitory life, are in trouble, sorrow, need, sickness, or any other adversity.

And we also bless your holy Name for all your servants departed this life in your faith and fear; beseeching you to grant them continual growth in your love and service, and to give us grace so to follow their good examples, that with them we may be partakers of your heavenly kingdom. Grant this, O Father, for Jesus Christ’s sake, our only Mediator and Advocate,

O  merciful God, on this day I give special thanks to you for the resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. By His resurrection from the dead, you gave us a sign of your promise to rescue us from death, your power to do it, and your intention to accomplish it. I remember today that you took upon yourself to suffer the terrible pain and fear all people face, voluntarily, for no reason except your love for us; and I thank you with every ounce of my being for your extraordinary love and mercy. All glory be to You, wonderful God.
